Colouring the braids Prepare a mixture of yellow ochre with a touch of vermilion red. Add a good proportion of emulsion to obtain a solid layer. Apply a puddle on all the areas without forgetting the sleeve.
	The hood and the chiton The colour of the lines is a mixture of ultramarine blue with a point of viridian and a point of burnt umber. Add a good proportion of egg and trace the lines precisely. Avoid using a very liquid mixture.
	Colouring the hood and the chiton Prepare a transparent mixture of ultramarine blue with a point of viridian and a touch of cobalt, and apply the colour using the puddle technique.
	Colouring the clavus and the belt Prepare a mixture of viridian with a touch of yellow ochre. Apply the colour using the puddle technique. The layer has to cover the whole surface because the rays of gold assist will highlight the garment once the painting is finished.
