| The first colour puddles on the garment
Before colouring the maphorion itself, apply an undercoat of yellow ochre. This preliminary layer will give gilded reflections to the brown coat, we will later apply, by transparency. Prepare a mixture of pure yellow ochre with a lot of water and enough emulsion. This preliminary layer must be solid as well as transparent to avoid both thickness and heaviness. Apply the colour puddle delicately, moving your brush all over the surface you want to colour. |

First step |
Christ's garment Christ's garment will be gilded with assist, so it is necessary to prepare the surface with a coat of paint. Apply a layer of yellow ochre and add a good touch of vermilion red (to favour the mixture, if you use a substitute, you can add two drops of surgical spirit – 90 degree alcohol). Apply the colour puddle without modelling... The first layer must be uniform and strong. |
