| The blue The lines of the wings and the blue garment have been traced with quite a dry mixture of ultramarine blue with a point of viridian and a touch of black. Add a good proportion of egg to the mixture. |

The first coloration of the wing's feathers and the blue garment has been done using a very light and transparent puddle. The colour is a mixture of a point of cobalt blue with a hint of ultramarine blue. Add a lot of water and very little egg emulsion.
Before applying the puddle, locate the parts that must remain clearer and pull the colour towards the darker parts. Blue pigments are very heavy. Therefore, avoid working inside the puddle after extending it. Otherwise, traces of your brush will appear on the surface... |
