Retracing the lines of the red garment To finish the red garment, it may be necessary to retrace once again the lines that may have partly disappeared during the highlights. Use quite a dry colour mixture composed of China red (or cadmium red) and a little point of ultramarine blue. Use a brush with a very good tip to obtain precise and fine lines.
	Prepare the wings for receiving the lasts highlight lines by intensifying their basic colour. Prepare a mixture of yellow ochre with a bit of red ochre and a hint of vermilion red to warm the tint up. Apply the colour using the puddle technique or the flat tint technique.
