The second highlight of the flesh The colour of the second highlight is a mixture of red ochre and yellow ochre (50/50). Your mixture must be quite liquid without too much emulsion. Apply the puddle on the clearest areas and extend the area while pulling the pigments towards the starting point. |

Once the first coloured area is applied, take a bit of your mixture, add some water and emulsion to it and apply this very clear and liquid mixture all around the puddles. Let it dry completely. This final addition will fuse the passage from light to dark in a soft and progressive way without completely concealing the first highlight. Wait until the puddles are completely dry before adding another layer of egg mixed with 50% of water to fix and nourish the colour. Concerning the hands: push the colour towards the fingertips and release the drop at the end. |
